3 Day Course

Law Enforcement Intelligence: Part II is an intermediate level course designed for those who are engaged in the law enforcement intelligence community or latent investigative field and are seeking enhanced skills for better integration multi-faceted data and production of a more refined, higher quality product. This is a class for really "connecting the dots". Students will explore each aspect of the "intelligence cycle", with emphasis on data organization & analytic functions. They will explore the intelligence "bridges" which encourage the development and support of complex investigations.

Attendees will receive an in-depth examination of a variety of techniques for managing voluminous amounts of diverse data , from classic time-tested approaches to more sophisticated computerized techniques. This section is hands-on (computer lab) and intended to develop skills that can be immediately applied in the field.

The target audience is primarily the more experienced law enforcement officer, drug investigator, detective, analyst or supervisor who is either engaged in the intelligence function, multiple offense/multiple suspect investigations or simply interested in enhancing their skills in dealing with more complex crime problems and/or investigations.
